Our Mission

Soft Resistance exists to defend democratic norms, civil liberties, and the rule of law through lawful political expression.

We oppose the use of government power to intimidate immigrants, silence dissent, or normalize cruelty as policy. We believe Americans have both the right and the responsibility to speak out when public officials act in ways that are corrupt, discriminatory, or abusive.

Our work uses satire, protest art, and merchandise to raise awareness and support lawful civic resistance. Soft Resistance is political speech. It is meant to criticize government overreach, reject authoritarian behavior, and give people a visible way to express dissent.

We are equally clear about what we do not support. Soft Resistance opposes political violence, hate speech, threats, harassment, vandalism, intimidation, and any other illegal form of protest. Our message is protected political expression. Our method is peaceful, lawful, and nonviolent.
